Jimmy Dale Hazlewood

Mr. Jimmy Dale Hazlewood, age 48, of 740 Cypress Creek Road in Martin died Thursday, 09/27/2012 at his residence.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Murphy Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Monday, October 1, 2012, at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Hazlewood is survived by his two sisters, Judy (Winston) Thurman and Cathy Ann (Harry) Litton both of Martin; one half-brother, James Reed of Martin, nieces, Kimberly Taitt and Kelly Reed; nephews, Edward Thurman and Steven Thurman; great nephews, Damon Thurman and Aubree Thurman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan S. Hazlewood and Brooksie Fay Royster Reed.

Mr. Hazlewood formerly worked at Mar-Ten Hams. He was employed as a butcher for E.W. James and Sons in Dresden, Tennessee.
