Mr. James Joseph (Jim) Martin, age 77, of Martin died Saturday, 05/21/2011, at his home.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 27, 2011, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Martin at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with Rosary to begin at 7:00 P.M.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Karen Nordhaus Martin of Martin, TN; his sons, Eric (Rosalyn) Martin of Aliso Viejo, CA, Andrew (Breda) Martin of Anaheim, CA, Paul (Kristena) Martin of Fullerton, CA, Peter (Carol) Martin of McComb, MS; his daughters, Maureen Boucher of Tampa, FL, Therese (Vincent)Mele of Whittier, CA, Cynthia (Phillip) Clark of Carlsbad, CA; one brother, Fred Martin of Martin, TN; his sisters, Rita Babione of Reno, NV, Therese Schweickert of Toledo, OH, Cecilia Austin of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Loretta Landryof Arvada, CO. He is survived by 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick Martin and Aura Morin Martin; brothers, Ben Martin, Don Martin, Raymond Martin; sisters, Catherine Clark, Veronica Hackett, Aura Karle.

Mr. Martin was retired CEO of Martin Brother Container and Timber Products Corporation in Martin, TN. He was graduate of Dayton University in Ohio and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Martin, TN.
