Jim Kirk

Mr. James "Jim" Alan Kirk, age 61, died Thursday, March 14, 2019, at West Tennessee Volunteer Hospital in Martin.

Graveside services will be at Mt. Pelia Cemetery in the Mt. Pelia Community Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 12:30 P.M with Bro. Brad Brewer and Bro. Eddie Hutchens officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Murphy Funeral Home from  11:00 A.M. -  12:00 P.M. 

Mr. Kirk is survived by his wife, Lakota "Kim" Duncan Kirk of Martin; his daughter, Rhiannon Langford of Frisco, TX; his mother, Carol Collopy Renslow of Menlo, Iowa, sister, Lori Shannon of Dresden; three half-sisters, Kimiko White of Smyrna, TN, Shelley Forrester and Tina Stover both of Martin; half-brothers, Dean Aquilinia of North Carolina, Dave Renslow and Steve Renslow from Menlo, Iowa; two grandchildren, Blake Michael Langford and Ashton James Langford.

Mr. Kirk was a foreman for Illinois Central Railroad.  He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ in Martin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Kirk; step-mother, Raedale Stewart Forrester; half-sister, Cathy Boucher.
