Miss Jessica James Forsythe, age 18, of Martin died Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital.
Funeral service will Thursday, August 18, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Martin; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Miss Forsythe is survived by her parents, Jim and Jennifer McDurmon Forsythe of Martin; brother, Brandon Forsythe of Martin; sisters, Jacey Forsythe and Brittany Forsythe Fortner both of Martin; paternal grandparents, James and Margaret Forysthe of Martin; maternal grandfather, Doug McDurmon of Martin; special friend, Cody Nanney of Sharon; brother-in-law, Josh Fortner; nephew, McKinley James Fortner.
Miss Forsythe was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marietta Jones McDurmon.
Jessica was a 2011 graduate of Westview High School and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Martin.
