Jesse Wade

February 19, 1935 — October 10, 2024

Mr. Jesse Moore Wade, age 89, of Martin passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Diversicare Health Care Center.

Funeral service will be Sunday, October 13, 2024, 3:00 P.M. at Shepherd's Field Church in Martin with Rev. Josh Carden officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the church until service time.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Wade; his parents, Oscar Wade and Elizabeth Imogene Cross Wade; one sister, Betty Newsom.

He is survived by his children, Debbie (Len) Jorge and Phil (Claire) Wade both of Martin; two brothers, Bill Wade of Sharon, TN and Joe Wade of South Fulton, TN; three sisters, Angie Brewer and Hazel Neblett both of Martin and Kathy Stogsdill of South Fulton; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Mr. Wade owned and operated Wade's Building Supply before retirement and then retired from Color Shop Construction.  He was a member of Shepherd's Field Church where he served as a deacon for many years.  He served on the Weakley County Board of Education and was a former Alderman for the City of Martin.

In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of one's choice.
