Mr. Jerry Wayne Howell, age 59, of Martin died Sunday, 04/03/2011, at his home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, 04/05/2011, at the First Baptist Church in Martin; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in Gardner Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Monday, 04/04/2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Howell is survived by his wife, Joan Howell of Martin; sons, Jerod W. (Lindsey) Howell and Jordan W. Howell both of Martin; mother, Mary Louise Davis Howell of Martin; brother, Terry Howell of Martin; one grandson, Ben Howell.

Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his father, James W. Howell.

Mr. Howell was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a graduate of Martin High School and a member of First Baptist Church in Martin. He was Tennessee National Guard.
