Jerry Thompson

Mr. Jerry Allen Thompson, age 70, died Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral Service will be Monday, December 18, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at St. Jude Catholic Church in Martin with Father Damian Krakowski and Deacon Rodney Freed officiating. Private burial to follow in Eastview Cemetery in Union City. Visitation will be Monday at the church beginning at 10:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Nancy Holzner Thompson of Martin; daughters, Jerianne (Denny Crawford) Thompson of Tualatin, Oregon and Elizabeth (Chris) Pritchett of Martin; son, Chuck (Ronda) Thompson of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Sharon Menard of Illinois; nine grandchildren, David, Vincent and Nicholas Thompson, Logan and Megan Thompson, Liam Crawford, Nolan, Amelia and Maggie Pritchett.

Mr. Thompson was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and was a veteran, U.S. Army Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Becky Thompson Isbell and David Isbell; his son, Jerry Thompson, Jr.; his granddaughter, Ella Claire Pritchett; parents, Levi Thompson and Elsie Bryant Thompson, sisters, Doris Cochran, Edith Stanley, June Fitch Jackson, Shelby Fischer, Joanne Wilemon and Pauline Thompson; brother, David Thompson.
