Graveside service will be Saturday, May 9, 2009, at East Side Cemetery; 12:30 P.M. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon
Survived by his sister, Candy Rachels Henson of Martin. Also, survived by his niece, Bentlee Henson McDaniel, and great-niece, Journee Alexis McDaniel both of Jackson, TN
Preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Taylor Rachel, Sr. and Ouida Vaden Rachels
Mr. Rachels was a graduate of Martin High School and the University of Tennessee at Martin. He was employed at City State Bank of Martin for 13 years. Also, he formally worked for Jack Henry and Associates in Missouri for 12 years. He was a member of the Martin Church of Christ.
