Jerry Moss

Mr. Jerry Mac Moss, age 72, of Union City died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Jackson-Madison General Hospital.

Funeral service will be Friday, January 20, 2012, at Murphy Funeral Home with burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Murphy Funeral Home; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Moss was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Moss. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Moss. He is survived by daughters, Teresa Hatchel of Martin and Lisa Grogan of Union City; his son survives, Mike Moss of Martin; step-son, Russell Lay of Dyersburg, TN; sister, Martha Powell of Gallatin, TN. Seven grandchildren survive, Mark Hatchel, David Hatchel, Cindy Daniels, Chad Daniels, Madison Moss, Jeremy Moss and MaKaylia Moss; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Hatchel and Bryce Daniels; step-grandchildren, Allison Lay, Paige Lay and Emily Lay.

Mr. Moss was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Malcom Moss and Nora Pearl Reese Moss; one granddaughter, MaKenzie Moss.

Mr. Moss was a truck driver for Reelfoot Packing Company and Akin-Porter.
