Mr. Jerry D. Moon, age 79, of Martin died Sunday, 09/04/2011, at Jackson Regional Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Funeral service will be Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Bethel Church of Christ in Martin; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at Murphy Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., or after 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Bethel Church of Christ.
Mr. Moon is survived by his wife, Delano Jones Moon of Martin; daughters, Belinda (Tommy) Russ of Martin, Debbie (Rocco) Pierce of Samoa; son, Mike (Kim) Moon of Martin, TN; brother, Billy Ray Moon of Jackson, TN; 11 grandchilren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Moon was preceded in death by parents, George Dewey Moon and Lena Green Moon; brother, Dale Moon; sisters, Margie Reynolds, Marie Cavin and Brooksie Mae Moon.
Mr. Moon was a retired carpenter and a member of Bethel Church of Christ.
