Jennifer Hale Sherry

Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Hale Sherry, age 46, of Portland, TN, formerly of Martin, died Thursday, September 25, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 1, 2014, 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 P. M. - 7:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, or after 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the church until funeral time at 11:00 A.M.

Mrs. Sherry is survived by her husband, Bob Sherry of Portland, TN; her mother, Nettie Taylor Hale of Martin; her brother, Michael (Beth) Hale of Jackson, Tennessee; one niece, Abby Hale, and one nephew, Thomas Hale. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Arthur Hale.

Mrs. Sherry was a 1986 graduate of Westview High School in Martin. She was a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin. Mrs. Sherry was employed by the State of Tennessee and a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
