Jeffrey Joseph Burton

Mr. Jeffrey Joseph Burton, age 61, of Martin, TN, died Friday, March 11, 2022 at his home.

Murphy Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Jeffrey was an avid reader, writer and an Arts and Computer Science enthusiast.  He was a retired store clerk and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Martin.  Jeffrey was a 1978 graduate of Westview High School and a National Merit Scholar.    

Mr. Burton was preceded in death by his parents, James J. Burton, Jr. and Betty Tinker Burton.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law,  Tony and Bonnie Beale Burton; his sister, Kara Havrila, all of Martin, TN, and brother, Derek Burton, Fort Worth, Texas.
