Janice Cleek

Mrs. Janice Marlene Cleek, age 74, of Martin died Friday, 10/19/2012, at Volunteer Community Hospital.

Funeral service will be Monday, October 22, 2012, at Murphy Funeral Home; 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Cates Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 21, 2012, at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Cleek was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Cleek; her parents, A.B. Connell and Jessie Bland Connell; one brother, Harland Connell; one grandson, James Cleek. She is survived by her son, Nathan Cleek of Martin; two brothers, Ronnie Connell and Leland Connell both of Sharon; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cleek formerly worked as a desk clerk at Days Inn in Martin. She was a graduate of Sharon High School and a member of Peasant Hill Baptist Church.
