Janette High Jones

Mrs. Janette High Jones, age 92, died Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Diversicare in Martin.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 30, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Sams officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 11:30 A.M. until service time at 1:00 PM.  

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Douglas Jones; her son, Dr. David Douglas Jones; her parents, Lloyd High and Lozettie Gardner High; one sister, Joyce Walker; one brother, John Robert High.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Jones of Martin, and her granddaughter, Lauren Jones of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mrs. Jones retired after 25 years with Pepsi Cola in Martin and later retired from City State Bank in Martin.  She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
