Mr. James William Cary, age 80, of Martin, TN, died Saturday, 02/17/2018, at Tennova Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.
Funeral Service will be Monday, February 19, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at the Martin Church of Christ with Lonnie Grady, Eddie Hutchens, Danny Cash and Ron Ayers speaking. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the church until service time at 1:00.
Pallbearers to serve are Richard Kelly, Johnny Vincent, Charles Latta, Bob Pritchett, Wayne Barber and Rex Pate. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Kelly, Jimmy Kelly, Rick Hepler, Phillip Vallee, Lynn Kelly, Raphael Walker and Jamie Kemp.
Mr. Cary was a member of Martin Church of Christ; he was a X-ray technician and a retired insurance agent with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee; he was also the former owner of Cary Insurance Services; he was a graduate of Northside High School in Jackson, TN.
Mr. Cary is survived by his wife, Davie Kay Whitfield Cary, of Martin, TN, his two sons, Alan(Kim) Cary, Martin, TN, and John(Amy) Cary, Columbia, TN; five grandchildren, Anderson David Cary, Addison Grace Cary, Jackson William Cary, Hunter Doyle Cary, and Carson Woods Cary; and two brothers, Homer Alton Cary, McDonough, GA, and Lloyd Cary, San Clementee, CA.
Mr. Cary was preceded in death by his parents, William Rayburn and Magnolia Cary.
Memorials requested to the Pat Head Summitt Foundation.
