James T. (Jimmy) Knowles

Mr. James (Jimmy) Knowles, age 93, died Sunday at Volunteer Commuity Hospital in Martin. Funeral Service for Mr. Knowles will be Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 1:00 P.M.; Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home: 5:00 - 7:00.

Mr. Knowles was preceded by his wife, Erda Brockwell Knowells. He is survived by a sister,Elizabeth Umbury of Nashville;brother, Richard Knowles of North Carolina. Preceded in death by his father James T. Knowles.

Mr. Knowles is survived by his sister-in-law, Bettye King of Martin; two nieces, Heather Rowden, Jackson; Marsha King of Houston, TX

Mr. Knowels was a WWII Army.
