James Randall Pete Walker

Mr. James Randal (Pete) Walker, age 80, died Friday, January 25, 2013, at Tennessee State Veteran's Home in Humboldt, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be Monday, January 28,2013, at 1:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery, Martin TN. Visitation will be Sunday, January 27, 2013, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Humboldt, TN from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Visitation Monday at Murphy Funeral Home after 11:00 AM until service time.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Myra Ann Moss Walker of Humboldt; sons, Randy (Tammy) Walker and Trent Walker both of Humboldt; daugher, Kristi Lee (Ricky) Harris of Humboldt; brother, Max H. Walker of Martin; five grandchildren, Jason (Susannah) Lewis, Jacob(Kelley) Lewis, Keri Jo(Jason) Coleman, Cassie (John) Mullins and Jed Walker; ten great-grandchildren.

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Earl Walker and Lillie Hall Carlton Walker; brothers, Thomas Hall Walker and Joe Charles Walker; sisters, Mable Highfill and Fannie Lou Davis.

Mr. Walker was born and raised in Martin,TN; he was retired from Bell South Telephone Company; he was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Humbolt TN; he was a graduate of Martin High School; and a veteran, U.S. Air Force.
