Mr. James Condrad Newton, age 79, died Monday, February 29, 2016, at his residence.
Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, 03/04/2016, at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Perry officiating. Visitation will be after 12:00 P.M. on Friday until service time.
Mr. Newton was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Moss Newton; his parents, James A. Newton and Marjal McDurmon Newton; brother, Jerald Newton. He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Cary) Newton Robinson of Martin; his son, Jason (Cathy) Newton of South Fulton, TN; two sisters, Pat (Lionel) Wheeler of Lynn Valley, Kansas and Vickie Gardner of Martin; three grandchildren, Kendall Newton, Colt Newton and Heath Mansfield.
Mr. Newton worked for Northwest Tennessee Human Resource Agency in Martin. He was a retired floral designer and a veteran, U.S. Navy.
Memorials to "Wounded Warrior Project" or "The Fisher House Foundation".
