James Learie

Mr. James Maxwell Learie, age 60, died Monday, 09/09/2013, at his residence.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, September 10, 2013, at Murphy Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. No public funeral service.

Mr. Learie is survived by his wife, Cora Banks Learie of Martin; his daughter, Paula Terry of Muscle Sholes, Alabama; two step-sons, Gary Brandon of Dukedom and Danny Watts of Martin; one step-daughter, Tammy Banks of Jackson, TN; his father, Leonard L. Lerie, Sr. of Inverness, Florida; brother, Leonard L. Learie, Jr. of Florida; sister, Michelle Schramm of Inverness, Florida.

Mr. Learie was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Pauline Weaker Learie.

Mr. Learie formerly worked for Good Year Tire and Rubber Company. He was a Baptist and a veteran, U.S. Army.
