Mr. James Joseph Granner, Sr., age 86, died Thursday, 10/03/2013, at Volunteer Community Hospital.
Funeral service will be Sunday, October 6, 2013, Murphy Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sharon, TN. Visitation will be Sunday beginning at 12 Noon until funeral time at 2:00 P.M.
Mr. Granner was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Joyce Poynter Granner; his parents, John Granner and Frances Schmidt Granner; his sister, Lorraine VanDenBossche; his brother, Ed Granner. He is survived by his son, James J. (Michelle) Granner, Jr. of Martin; his sister, Germane (Emil) Eder of Arlington Heights, Ill.; one grandson, Matt Granner.
Mr. Granner formerly worked at Volunteer Community Hospital and retired from Hammond Organ Company. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
