James Everrett Mitchell, Sr.

Mr. James Everrett Mitchell, Sr., age 73, of Dresden died Monday, 04/04/2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.

Memorial and Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, 04/10/2011, at Kingdon Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Visitation will be Friday, 04/08/2011 between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home.

The family requests that memorials be made to Kingdon Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, c/o Joe White, P O Box 445, Martin TN 38237.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Hillis Ford Mitchell of Dresden; sons, James E.(Angela) Mitchell, Jr. of Dresden, John E. (Cindy) Mitchell of Martin and Joseph (Amy) Mitchell of Dresden; his daughter, Donna (Craig) Hazlewood of Martin, his sister, Betty Harrison of Dresden; his brother, William Joseph Mitchell of Sun City, AZ; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Mitchell and Virginia Johnson Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell was president of Mitchell Transport in Dresden.
