Mr. James Edward Brewer, age 63, of Gleason, TN died Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 20, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Alamo Cemetery in the Sidonia Community. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, for three hours prior to service time at 1:00 P.M.
Mr. Brewer is survived by his sister, Joyce Miles of Martin; his brother, Robert Earl Brewer of Memphis; two aunts, Nettie Rambo and Lillie May Williams both of Union City, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Katherine Brewer Brouillette; his parents, Edward Eugene (Bill) Brewer and Myra Lucille Forrester Brewer; his brother, Michael Brewer.
Mr. Brewer was a retired maintenance supervisor at Van Ayer Manor in Martin. He was a former instructor at Tennessee Technology School in McKenzie, Tennessee. He was a veteran, U.S. Army/Vietnam.
