Iral (Peanut) Loar

Mr. Iral Edward (Peanut) Loar, age 69, died Sunday at his home. Graveside service will be Wednesday, 12/16/2009, in Ozark Cemetery near Tupelo, Mississippi. Visitation will be Tuesday, 12/15/2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Loar is survived by his wife, Linda Morgan Loar of Martin, son, Eddie Loar of Martin; one grandchild, Brooklyn Loar; step-daughters, Diane Bryant of Walker, LA, Juanita Cutrer of Houma, LA, Patricia Brown of Magnolia, TX and Sharon Shelton of Pride, LA. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank Loar and Lora Johnson Loar; brother, David Loar.

Mr. Loar was a retired superintendent of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, 31 years. After retirement he worked with Harper's Wrecker Service.
