Mr. Herbert (Bubba) Davis, age 77, of Detroit, Michigan died Wednesday, 08/05/2009, In Detroit. Funeral services will be Friday, 08/14/2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow in Parham Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday morning.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Bennie Winston Davis of Detroit; children, Michael Davis of Martin, James Roderick Davis of St. Louis and Shirlyn Davis of Detroit; sisters, Shirley Jones of St. Louis and Linda Davis of Martin. He was preceded in death by parents, Hurley Davis and Kathrine Tansil Davis; brothers, Hershell Davis and Edward Davis.
