Ms. Helen Louise McGehee West, age 90 died Tuesday, 01/23/2007 at Volunteer Community Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, 01/26/2007, at 1:00 pm at Public Wells Missionary Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Public Wells Cemetary.
Visitation will be Thursday 01/25/2007 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Murphy Funeral Home. Ms. West will be taken to the church at 11:00 on Friday and will lie in state for 2 hours prior to the service at 1:00 pm.
She was the widow of Raymond Simcik
She was the widow of Bert West
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph L. McGehee and Florance Tucker McGehee; 3 brothers, Wallace, Gilbert, & Felix McGehee and Sisters Ruth Erwin, & Monte Ree Horanski; and a son Larry Max Rambo.
She is survived by her daughters Monya Rambo of Florida; Patricia Helen Schroeder of Lander, WY; a Son Michael Joseph Simcik of Spring Lake, MI; and her sister Mary Virginia Tucker of Martin.
She leaves 11 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren.
