Gloria Mansfield

Mrs. Gloria Ann Chappell Mansfield, age 64, of Martin died Friday at her home. Funeral services will be Monday, August 10, 2009, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church; 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Cates Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 9, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Mansfield is survived by her husband, Gary Mansfield of Martin; daughter, Kelly Mansfield of Nashville; sons, Terry Mansfield of Hooper, Utah and Trevor Mansfield of Nashville; sister, Brenda Chappell Jones of Springfield, TN; and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, L.C. and Sue Chappell.

Mrs. Mansfield taught Geology at the University of Tennessee prior to her retirement in January 2009. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
