Gloria Largen

Mrs. Gloria Gay Wright Largen, age 74, of Dresden died Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Jackson Regional Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Graveside service will be held Friday, April 8, 2016, in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden at 12:30 P.M. with Rev. Mark Earheart officiating. Family and friends can assemble at the cemetery at 12:15 P.M. Burial immediately following the service.

Mrs. Largen was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Smith Wright and Annie Mae Maxey Wright.

Mrs. Largen was a graduate of Dresden High School and The University of Tennessee at Martin Branch. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, Xi Zeta Chapter. She was an advisor for the active chapter of Chi Omega at UTM for 14 years. She retired after 41 years of teaching from Greenfield Elementary School in Greenfield, Tennessee. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dresden.

She is survived by the following cousins, Jerry Kelley of Dresden, Frank Reeder of Claremore, OK, Mary Mitchell of Sanibel Island, FL, Judy Springer of Knoxville, Charlene Chandler of Martin and Maxanna Locus of Cincinnati, OH.
