Glen Cantrell

Mr. Robert Glen Cantrell, age 83, of Martin died Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Weakley County Nursing and Rehab in Dresden.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Hutchens and Bro. Brad Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2018, 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Tim Neblett, Matt Neblett, Adam Wright, Mike Morgan, Tim Plunk and Johnny Plunk.  Honorary Pallbearers are L.C. Plunk, Ronald Plunk, William Leggins, Richard Wilson, Gerald Thompson, Larry Kimbel, Denny Cantrell and Mike Cantrell.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by his wife, Erlene Plunk Cantrell; his daughters, Brenda (Tim) Neblett, Glenda Hauhe,  Shelia (Billy) Wright and Tammie Bell all of Martin; seven grandchildren, Brian Neblett, Matt Neblett, Misti Hauhe Lance, Brittany Wright, Adam Wright, Selena Bell Bragg and Julie Anne Bell Smithson; 15 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Cantrell was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.  He attended Sharon High School and was a member of Bethel Church of Christ in Martin.  He was a veteran, U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertram L. Cantrell and Eva Payne Cantrell; sister, Bertice McNatt; brothers, James Cantrell and Harold Cantrell.
