Gerald Fowler Brooks

Mr. Brooks, age 82, died at his home in Martin.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 11, 2009, at First Baptist Church; 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Logan Brooks. He is survived by his children, Phil (Brett) Brooks, Barry (Margie) Brooks, Geill Brooks Glover and Walter Brooks. Also, by two sisters, Betty Holley and Martha Butler; five grandchildren.

He ws preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Addie Fowler Brooks.

Mr. Brooks was a former electrical engineer and superintendent of Weakley County Muncipal Electric System. He was U.S. Army veteran and a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
