Gary F. Rice

Mr. Gary F. Rice, age 73, of Cordova, Tennessee died Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 13, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Caz Minter and Rev. Eddie Mallonee officiating.  Burial will follow in Wood Cemetery in Martin.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday at the funeral home for one hour prior to the funeral service at 1:00.

Pallbearers are Jackie Perry, Hayes Flippen, Ted Perry, Robin Garland, Daniel Dunn and Bill Flippen.  Honorary Pallbearers are Ben Spicer, Robert McMillan, Marty Cavin, Carlton Wright and Jeff Chappell.

Mr. Rice is survived by his wife, Paula Wood Rice of Cordova, Tennessee.

He was a retired Industrial Insurance salesman and was a member of Advent Presbyterian Church in Cordova.  He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Rice and Helen Wallace.
