Freda Bolding

October 20, 1948 — October 23, 2019

Mrs. Freda Overcast Bolding, age 71, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at her home.

Funeral service will be Monday, October 28, 2019, 1:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in Briarpatch Cemetery located on the Bolding Family Farm near Martin.  Visitation will be Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church. Visitation on Monday will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the church until service time at 1:00.

Pallbearers are Danny Joe Cotton, George Manor, Tommy Martin, Marvin Alexander, Mark Prince, Mike Rinker, Harry Lee Caudle and Terry Woodruff.  Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Ford, Mike Ford, Maury Ford, Grant Mesimer, Hunter Nanney, Griffin Strode, Roy Johnson, Brandon Moncrief, Justin Bolding, Keith Bolding, Charles Castellaw, Rex Smith, Joe T. Rainey, Tony Coleman, Steve Cannon, Jimmy Smith, Mike Wilson, David Murphy, Sebastian Knoeppel, George Mesimer, Dr. Lloyd Duncan, Dr. Hasan Sonmezturk, Dr. Egbert Robeiro, Dr. Wes Medlin and Danny Montgomery.

Mrs. Bolding is survived by her husband, J. Dale Bolding; her daughter, Lee-Brandon (Robert, Jr.) Conley all of Martin; her son, Scott (Sheri) Bolding of Salt Lake City, Utah; her mother, Virginia Jackson White; nine grandchildren, Madison Mesimer, MaryKirk Mesimer, Grant Mesimer, Kalindy (Danny) Wade, Amity (Collin) Miller, Brandon (Ashley) Moncrief, Taylor Bolding, Megan Bolding and Justin Bolding; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Anita Carroll, Rita (Joe T.) Rainey, Verla (Rex) Smith all of Puyear, TN, Sherla Adams of Murray, KY, Eva (Phillip) Smith of Louisville, KY and Vicki Plumley of Martin;  two special nieces, Eleshia Brandon and Kelly Brandon; many nieces and nephews and two special angels, Jennifer Davis and Karli Smith.

Freda was a Registered Nurse.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ewell Overcast.

Memorials requested to Shriners Hospital For Children.
