Finas "Ben" Woodson

Mr. Finas Benjamin "Ben" Woodson, age 75, of Martin died Monday, August 29, 2016, at his residence.

Graveside Service will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City, TN with Rev. John Clark and Jim Woodson officiating. Friends may assemble at the cemetery at 10:45 A.M. On Thursday.

Mr. Woodson is survived by his wife, Denise Cavin Woodson of Martin; daughters, Beth Farr of Tampa, Florida and Benita Woodson of Orlando, Florida, Tabitha Woodson of Martin; sons, Finis Benjamin Woodson, II of North Carolina, Luke Woodson of Memphis and Austin Woodson of Martin; sisters, Mary Jo Barr, Doris Jean Stroud, Velma Irene Simpson, Elizabeth Cook and Alice Fay McBride; brothers, Jim K. Woodson and Thomas D. Woodson; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Coulter, Marshall, Daughton, Tristan, Meghan and Gage; four great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Gunner, Gabriel and Kloie.

Mr. Woodson was retired from CSX Transportations in Orlando, Florida. He was a graduate of South Fulton High School in South Fulton, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Jean Woodson, parents, Samuel Woodson and Elizabeth Kimbell Woodson; sisters, Aladine Felty and Gladys Gould; brothers, O.J. Woodson, Sam Woodson, Jr., Richard Guy Woodson and Sherman Ray Woodson.
