Mrs. Evelyn Dougherty Crockett, age 95, died Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Weakley County Nursing and Rehab Center in Dresden.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 7, 2015, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.
Mrs. Crockett was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Q. Crockett; her parents, Joseph Dougherty and Ruth Cook Dougherty; four brothers, Richard Dougherty, Jim Dougherty, John Dougherty and Howard Dougherty.
Mrs. Crockett was a homemaker and a member of Gardner Church of Christ in Martin.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy (Barbara) Crockett of Wake Forest, NC; two daughters, Ann (Jackie) Richardson of Cowan, TN and Jo (Lloyd) Bell of Dresden, TN; one brother, Frank (Jaunita) Dougherty of Owenton, KY; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
