Eunice Coates

Mrs. Eunice Coates, age 101, died Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Obion County Nursing Home.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 19, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Cooper and Rev. Franklin Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday until funeral time at 11:00 A.M. Great-Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Coates was preceded in death by her husband, Hilliard W. Coates; her son, Ted Coates, her great-grandson, Jacob Coates. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Doyle (W.C.) Crouch of Union City, TN; five grandchildren, David (Pam) Coates and Jeff (Lana) Coates both of Martin, Tim (Robyn) Doyle of Union City, TN, Rebecca Garrigan of Panama City Beach, FL, Amy (John) Cary of Columbia, Tennessee; ten great-grandchildren, Bart and Emily Doyle, Ian and Jay Paul Garrigan, Jackson, Hunter and Carson Cary, Logan and Landon Coates, Lindsey Hollowell; two great great-grandchildren, Callie and Cade Hollowell; her daughter-in-law, Patsy Winstead Coates of Martin.

Mrs. Coates was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Martin.
