Erlene Cantrell

Mrs. Erlene Plunk Cantrell, age 86, of Martin died Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Weakley County Nursing and Rehab Center in Dresden, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 4, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Hutchens and Bro.  Brad Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 A.M. until funeral time at 1:00.

Mrs. Cantrell was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Cantrell; her parents, Russell Plunk and Scleeta Walker Plunk.

She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Church of Christ in Martin.

She is survived by her four daughters, Brenda (Tim) Neblett, Glenda Hauhe, Shelia (Billy) Wright and Tammie Bell all of Martin; two brothers, L.C. (Mary) Plunk of Sharon, TN and Ronald (Linda) Plunk of Martin; one sister, Dorothy (William) Leggins of Kingston, TN; seven grandchildren, Brian Neblett, Matt Neblett, Misti Hauhe Simmons, Brittany Wright Phillips, Adam Wright, Selena Bell Bragg and Julie Anne Bell Smithson; 16 great-grandchildren.
