E.O. Wells

Mr. E.O. Wells, age 82, of the Mt. Pelia Community died Wednesday, 01/05/2011 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.

Funeral service will be Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home;  12:30 P.M.    Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.  Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 10:00 A.M. for 2 1/2 hours prior to service at 12:30 P.M.

Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Virginia Hazlewood Wells of Martin; his son, Ronnie Wells of Martin; his daughter, Charlotte Franklin of Martin; one brother, Albert Lee Wells of Gilmer, Texas.  Five grandchildren and ten great-granchildren survive.

Mr. Wells was preceded in death by his parents, Pete W. Wells and Fannie Mae Durbin Wells.

Mr. Wells was a U.S. Navy-WW II veteran and member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
