Mrs. Elizabeth Jane McCoy Carver, age 81, died Friday, 09/02/2011, at Jackson Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be Sunday, 09/4/2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 2:00 P.M. Burial to follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, 09/03/2011, 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Mrs. Carver was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Carver; son, Charles Bell; daughter, Joyce Burpo; parents, Hayden McCoy and Ludie Jorden Orr.
Mrs. Carver is survived by son, Danny (Linda) Bell of Carpentersville, Ill; daughter, Marlon (Dennis) Howard of Dresden, TN; brothers, Bobby (Sandy) Orr of Chicago, Ill., Raymond (Mary) McCoy of Memphis; sisters, Brenda Powers of Pekin, Ill., Kathy Owens of Pekin, Ill., Mildred (Jerry) Sherrill of Union City, Martha (Donald) Jackson of Union City; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Mrs. Carver was a homemaker and a memeber of Bible Union Baptist Church.
