Mr. Elbert E. Davis, age 79, died at his home at 131 Hynds Davis Rd, on Saturday, 03/06/2010.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, 03/09/2010, at Murphy Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Martin Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, 03/08/2010, between 5:00PM and 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Davis was retired owner of Davis Garage, a member of Southside Baptist Church, and a Vetran of the U.S. Army,; Korea.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Mae Smith Davis, a son Leslie Davis, both of Martin TN, a daughter, Kathy Stafford, Collerville, TN, a sister, Ruth Glissen, Martin TN, and a brother, Dewey Davis, Dresden TN, three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Mr Davis was preceeded in death by his parents, Elbert (Buck) & Eura Hay Davis.
