Eddie Joe Pearce

Mr. Eddie Joe Pearce, age 74, of Martin died Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 09/10/2016, at 2:00 PM at Ralston Baptist Church, with Rev. Sing Oldham, Rev. Kerry Shopher, and Rev. John Worrell officiating, with burial to follow at East Side Cemetery, Martin, TN. Visitation will be Friday, 09/09/2016 between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Ralston Baptist Church; visitation Saturday will be after 10:00 AM at Ralston Baptist Church.

Pallbearer will be Steve Tuck, David Sims, Ronnie Bates, Jack Ogg, James Hatchel, Bill Rea, Skylar McCroskey and Brent Pearce. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harry Sublett and Doyle Sims.

Mr. Pearce is survived by his wife, Judy Kay Bell Pearce of Martin; his daughters, Leatha (Joe) McCroskey of Martin and Maribeth Charles of Houston, Texas; his sons, Joe (Janet) Pearce and Michael (Selena) Pearce both of Martin; one brother, Dr. James (Brenda) Pearce of Germantown, TN; six grandchildren.

Mr. Pearce, along with his wife and family, owned and operated Pearce Truck and Auto in Martin. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Mr. Pearce was a member of Ralston Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Pearce and Laura Frances Barber Pearce; one brother, Robert Pearce.
