Dwayne H. Gaskins

Mr. Dwayne H. Gaskins, age 74, of Martin died Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Van Ayer Manor Healthcare and Rehab in Martin.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, January 25, 2015, at Ralston Baptist Church in Martin; 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Republican Grove Cemetery near Trezevant, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Murphy Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M., or after 1:00 P.M. on Sunday at the church.

Mr. Gaskins is survived by his wife, Brenda Walker Gaskins of Martin; his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Joe Hicks of Martin; his sons and daughter-in-laws, Stephen and Lisa Gaskins of New Johnsville, TN, Chuck and Cindy Gaskins of McKenzie, TN; his sister, Dottie Sherrill of Huntingdon, TN; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. Gaskins and Marie Winston Gaskins; one brother, Bobby J. Gaskins, one sister, Brenda Sue Foust.

Mr. Gaskins was a retired construction contractor. He was a member of Ralston Baptist Church in Martin and a veteran, U.S. Air Force, Vietnam.
