Dr. O.K. Smith, Jr., Md

Dr. O.K. Smith, Jr., MD, age 79, died Saturday, March 23, 2019, at his residence.

Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 30, 2019, 1:00 P. M. at the First United Methodist Church in Martin with Rev. Sky McCracken officiating.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the church until funeral time.

Dr. Smith is survived by his wife, Renee Flood Smith of Martin; his daughters, Stephanie (Kim) Smith of Nashville, Stacey E. (Tim) Nash of Atlanta and Brittany (Josh) Fortner of Martin; his sons, O.K. (Michelle) Smith, III of Greenville, SC, Dr. Leland C. (Ginger) Smith of Knoxville, Ashton Moore (Carrie E.) Smith of Nashville; sister, Mary Evelyn Reese of Gallatin; grandchildren, Lindsey Marie (Paul) VanderHeiden, Emily Ann Smith, Samuel Scott Nash, Blake Elizabeth Nash, Nolan Paul Smith, Sally Ann Smith, Ruby Elizabeth Smith, Stiles Moore Smith, McKinley Fortner, Allie Fortner and Piper Fortner; great-grandchildren, Meadow Marie VanderHeiden and Weston Alexander Fernandez. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gina Moore Smith;  parents, O.K. Smith, Sr. and Lady Ruth Herndon Smith; sister, Rose Marie Smith; grandson, Hudson Fortner.

He was a veteran, U.S. Air Force.
