Dr. Bill Byars

Dr. William (Bill) Thomas Byars, Jr., age 71, died Monday, May 11, 2020, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Due to the social restrictions we are under the graveside service will be private for family members only.  Father David Orsak will officiate the private service. 

Dr. Byars is survived by his sister, Brenda (Fred) Harper of Memphis; his niece, Laura (Todd) Stiles of Greenville, KY; three great-nephews, Harper Stiles, Hunter Stiles and Harrison Stiles.

Dr. Byars was an optometrist.  He owned and operated Broadway Vision Center in South Fulton, TN and he was the optometrist for the Wal-Mart Vision Center in Camden, Tennessee.  He was a graduate of Martin High School, The University of Tennessee at Martin and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.  He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Billy) Thomas Byars, Sr. and Jeanette Kemp Byars.
