Doyles Plunk

Mr. Doyles Wayne Plunk, age 78, of Martin died Friday at his home. Funeral services will be Monday, November 23, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, November 22, 2009, at the funeral home; 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Mr. Plunk is survived by his wife, Bula Baker Plunk of Martin. He is survived by sons, Doyle Ray (Veneda) Plunk of Jackson, TN, Michael DeWayne Plunk of Nashville, TN, Keith Allen (Cathy) Plunk of Rockmart, GA and Chad Brent (Allison) Plunk of Brentwood, TN; brothers, Ronald Plunk of Martin and L.C. Plunk of Sharon; sisters, Leatice Copeland of Wilmington, ND, Erlene Cantrell of Martin and Dorothy Leggins of Kingston, TN; six grandchildren. Mr. Plunk was preceded in death brother, James Plunk and sister, Davie Lee Ash.

Mr. Plunk was a machanic superintendent for Time D.C. Trucking Corporation. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.
