Douglas (Doug) Earl Mcdurmon

Mr. Douglas Earl (Doug) McDurmon, age 81, of Hwy 45 North, Martin TN, died Thursday, 02/05/2015, at his home.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 02/07/2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sidonia TN. Visitation will be Friday, 02/06/2015, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Mr. McDurmon was a retired truck driver; he drove for Central and Southern, Argo-Collier, Leland Powell, and Volunteer Express. He was a 1953 graduate of Sharon High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. McDurmon is survived by a daughter, Jennifer(Jim) Forsythe, Martin TN; two sons, Mark(Marie) McDurmon, Olympia, Washington, and Patrick(Shawna) McDurmon, Paris TN; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Wright and Iris Bell both of Martin TN.

Mr. McDurmon was preceded in death by his wife, Marietta Jones McDurmon, a granddaughter, Jessica Forsythe, and his parents, Leonard and Lyndell Riley McDurmon.
