Dorothy Walters

Mrs. Dorothy Mae "Dot" Walters, age 90, died Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Diversicare of Martin.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 3, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2018, 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home.

Pallbearers to serve are Jeffrey Walters, Jason Walters, Steven Walters, Dusten Walters, David Walters, Shaun Crowell and Tyler Crawford.

Mrs. Walters was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Walters; her son, Gerald Walters, parents, Hubert Danner and Beulah Hawks Danner; sister, Janney Faye Danner; brother, Doyle Danner; two grandchildren, Kimberly Walters and Gary Laird; one great-grandchild, Farrarjean "Faith" Walters.

Mrs. Walters was a business owners of several bars and grills. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her sons, Ron (Susan) Crowell and Dale (Sheryl) Walters both of South Fulton, TN, Larry (Bonnie) Walters of Dresden and Frankie (Jeannie) Walters of Martin; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren.
