Mrs. Dorothy Ruth Kannenberg Tapping, age 60, of Martin, TN, died Friday, 09/23/2016 at St. Thomas Hospital West, Nashville, Tennessee.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 27, 2016, 12 Noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fulton, Kentucky with Bishop Charles Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Cemetery in Troy, Tennessee. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the church for one hour prior to funeral service.
Mrs Tapping was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She received her associate degree from Dyersburg State Community College.
Mrs. Tapping is survived by her husband, Charles Hawley Tapping, III, of Martin TN; three daughters, April Pratt, Salt Lake City, UT, Tina Kent, Bloomington IL, and Trina Parsons, Charleston, MS; her mother, Ruth Luxton Kannenberg, Austin, TX; a sister, Linda Kurth, Walnut, IL; and two brothers, Robert Kannenberg, Austin, TX, William Kannenberg, Colorado Springs, CO.
Mrs. Tapping was preceded in death by her father, August William Kannenberg.
