Mrs. Dorothy R. Adams, age 89, of Martin, TN, died Saturday, 04/16/2016, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, 04/18/2016, at Murphy Funeral Home, with Rev. Randy Cooper officiating, burial to follow at East Side Cemetery, Martin TN. Visitation will be Sunday, between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Adams was a member of First United Methodist Church of Martin, TN; she was a homemaker.

Mrs. Adams is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Mike) Greenlee, Lakeland, FL; seven grandchildren, Tiffany (Scott) Taylor, Seacrest Beach, FL, Jeff Adams, Nashville, TN, Brian Adams, Martin TN, Bradley Adams, Jackson, TN, Megan Mitzelfelt, Silver Springs, MD, Ned Riley Greenlee, Auburndale, FL, and Beth (Todd) Warren, Medina, TN; eight great grandchildren; two daughter-in-laws, Gloria Lykins Adams, Seacrest Beach, FL, and Pam Adams, Martin, TN.

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, James Riley Adams; sons James Dennis and Richard Dale (Rick) Adams; and a sister, Christine Walker.
