Dorothy Hunt

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Offord Hunt, age 83, of Martin died Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at her residence.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 4, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. John Worrell officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2016, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Hunt, Jr.; her parents, Doc Offord and Rosa Summers Offord.

Mrs. Hunt was a retired sewing machine operator with Martin Manufacturing Company. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Martin.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Darlene (Jeff) Brock of Camden, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Misty (Matt) Bivins and Renee Larsen both of Camden; six great-grandchildren, Brandon Dyer, China Dyer, Austin Quinn, Paetyn Larsen, Kiley Bivins and Bryson Allen; one step-grandson, Shane Brock; two step great-grandsons, Matthew Bivins and Luke Brock.
