Age: 87 of the Gardner Community near Martin

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Martin at 11:00 am.

Visitation will be Monday, July 2,2007, at Murphy Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00. Visitation will be held again on Tuesday from 9:30 until service time at 11 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Dowden is survived by sons, Jessie Dowden of Martin, Larry Dowden of Martin, Glen Dowden of Union City, and Gerald Dowden of Martin.

Mrs. Dowden is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Tallent of Martin

She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dowden was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jackson (Andy) Dowden, her parents, and one brother and one sister.
