Mrs. Dorothea Freeman Williams, age 97, of 438 Miller Rd, Martin TN, died Saturday, 01/22/2011, at Desoto Health Care, Southaven, MS.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 01/25/2011, at 11:00 AM at Bible Union Baptist Church. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery, Martin TN. Visitation will be Monday, 01/24/2011, between 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home. Her body will be taken to the church Tuesday at 9:30 AM until service time.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church and was retired from Meritt Clothing Co.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Winnie(James) Castleman, Martin Tn, and a son, Doyle(Phyllis) Williams, Horn Lake MS: a sister, Maxine Chambers, Southaven, MS; a brother, Doyle Freeman, Indiana; and nine grandchildren, Jimmy Williams, Danny Williams, Tammy Alexander, Michael Williams, Alecia Brown, Deann Gilliam, Shane Rhodes, Paxton McClain and Preston McClain; and 13 great- grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, William Daniel Williams; sisters, Selma Gatewood and Emma Davis; brothers, Cleo Freeman, Edd Freeman, Gaither Freeman and Woodrow Freeman; and her parents,Joe & Jessie Davis Freeman.
